SERMON RECAP:

David is known for his victories, his trust in God, and the promise of a Son who will reign on his thron forever.  David desired to build a house for the Lord, but that assignment goes to his son Solomon.

Solomon is known for his wisdom and the building of the temple.  Under Solomon’s reign, Isreal rises to its highest prominence and influence.  It truly is a time of fulfilled promises.  Solomon’s reign from the capital city of Jerusalem points to a greater King who is to come, who dwells with His people in a new heaven and new earth.
