SERMON RECAP:

Up to this point, Epic story has been on a world-wide scale.  After the tower of Babel, and the confusion of language, the story narrows suddenly to one man and his family...a man named Abram.
 
God reveals himself to Abram, making him some spectacular promises, and entering into covenant with him.  Through Abraham, God is on mission to redeem a people for His glory and to reverse the curse of sin.  He promises him a name, a land, and a heritage for the future.  God will bless the whole world through him.  Abraham believes God and that faith is counted to him as righteousness.  From Abraham's seed will come the One through whom the promises will be fulfilled.
