Our History

Valley Church was planted in May of 2000 under the oversight of the Fellowship of Connected Churches and Ministries (FCCM). The first meeting consisted of four families gathered in a living room. Soon, a larger meeting place was needed, and Valley Church moved to a local hotel conference room. Additional growth meant moving several more times. In the summer of 2006, Valley Church moved into its current location at 2940 I-70 Business Loop.

Since its founding, Valley Church has been committed to the proclamation of the Gospel. That commitment motivates everything that we do. We believe in the transforming power of the grace of God, as revealed in the incarnation, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We are a Gospel-centered church. As such, we are passionate about the Bible, worship, missions, discipleship, grace, and treasuring Jesus above all things.

Valley Church is pastored by Geoff Walker and a team of servant leaders.
Geoff is a graduate of Hardin-Simmons University (BBA Finance) and Southwestern
Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv).

Valley Church is part of the Kerygma Network of churches. The network assists with resource sharing and provides encouragement, accountability, and apostolic care.
